REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

All teams are accepted on a “first-come, first-paid” basis. All registrations must be postmarked two weeks prior to event. Late registering teams will be on a stand-by basis, subject to space availability and Missionary discretion.
Churches may register up to ONE Sparks-a-Rama team and TWO AwanaGames teams. Any additional teams from a church will be placed on stand-by. Churches will be notified if there is room for their stand-by team one week prior to event.
NOTE: Each event location now only has ONE time slot for Sparks-a-Rama (9:30 am) and ONE time slot for AwanaGames (12:30 pm). This limits the physical participation to 8 Sparks teams and 16 AwanaGames teams.
Registrations are not valid until the registration checks and line judge checks have been received by the correct registrar (listed below). Registrations are also non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Please make checks payable to:

All team members must pass 10 sections during the current club year.
Withdrawn registrations will not be not eligible for refunds and will also forfeit the ability to register more than one team the following year.
Teams will be assigned color line by event coordinator.
Color lines will not be given out until day of event. Please do not call the event coordinator and ask what color you are on. We reserve the right to change color lines up to the day of the event due to cancellations and space availability.
Teams may wear any color uniform they chose. They do not have to be Red, Blue, Green or Yellow but all members of a team must have matching uniforms or team will be required to wear supplied pinnies (sport vests).
Teams will be given temporary wrist bands that match their color line on the day of the event. All participants and coaches must wear the wrist band on their wrist during the entire event. Anyone found on the color line without a wrist band will have to leave the line and the team will lose sportsmanship points.

Line Judge Qualifications
All line judges must pass the line judges test to judge - no exceptions. A score of 90% earns a Certified status (can judge for your team for the year passed and for three additional years without retaking the test) - see the current list of Certified Line Judges in the region. A score of 70 % earns a Qualified status (can judge for your team in the year passed) A line judge name must be submitted on the registration for each TEAM (name listed for both Sparks-a-Rama and AwanaGames registering for). If two AwanaGames/Sparks-a-Rama teams are being registered, two SEPARATE line judge names must be listed since both teams will be running at the same team. The submitted Line Judge(s) names will be checked against last year's Certification list. If not they must take the test by the deadline given. It is the church's responsibility to make sure they have at least a qualified or certified line judge. Teams who do not have a line judge or who fail to pass the test by the deadline will forfeit the $20.00 line judge deposit and lose 5 sportsmanship points for their team. Answers will not be given for missed questions from the Line Judge test, no exceptions. If a person DOES NOT pass the test (at least a 70%), they may retake the test. Those that pass the test CANNOT retake the test in an attempt to earn the Certified status. Every attempt should be made by line judges to study (or re-study) the line judge information (including rule books) prior to taking the test to ensure that all of the major rules are fresh in memory. Every attempt must be made to obtain a line judge per team from your church. Churches cannot simply 'buy' a line judge using the $20 fee - your team registration will be in a tentative status until you have a qualified or certified line judge. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

We are only offering AwanaGames-Coed (formerly Division 3)! More information can be found on the Rule Book Clarification.

NOTE: Coaches are not allowed on the game square during the event - sportsmanship points earned during each game will be not be awarded to teams with coaches on the circle.
Once registered, teams can only switch divisions on a space available basis, as long as it does not jeopardize the division they were in.
All teams must use the latest T&T AwanaGames Rule Book or Sparks-a-Rama Rule Book (PDF file) and Rule Book Addendum.
In addition to the Line Judge, each team (or combined team) must provide one staff person to assist with number hanging, score keeping, or equipment handling (training will be provided).
Please refer to the Event Cancellation Policy in case of bad weather.
Each church must complete and sign a copy of the Awana Event Participation Agreement before being allowed to participate in any sponsored Awana events. Please check out the Frequently Asked Questions page on this agreement or contact your Awana Missionary for more information. Note: once an agreement is on file, it is not required to resubmit them each year.
