Bean Bag Bonanza (JV) rule clarification: Players must stay along the circle when playing, not line up behind one another.

Scoring Pins: During an event, if a team member knocks over his or another team’s scoring pin—that team will be disqualified. If for some reason a team’s scoring pin has been removed by an action other than their own, they should complete the game and proceed as if the scoring pin was in its proper position. It is the circle director’s sole discretion as to whether or not the team adequately finished the event or was impaired from doing so.

Substitutions: It is the spirit of the game, that the team be comprised of students in the program that is competing (JV teens in the JV AwanaGames, Varsity teens in Varsity AwanaGames). Since this is not always possible, Varsity AwanaGames teams are allowed to move up to four JV 8^th graders to play; JV may move up to four 5^th-6^th graders to play in the JV AwanaGames (JV teens working on th Relay book are not counted in this exception). In addition, the spirit of the rule also implies that wherever possible team members only compete in one AwanaGames event per year. Exceptions to this are made by approval by the Awana Missionary or Event Coordinator in extreme circumstances only.

Dress code note: Out of respect to our Christian brethren and for safety reasons, all participants must wear long pants (most Capri and sweat pants will be accepted). This includes clubbers, coaches, scorekeepers, and other adults on the floor (female scorekeepers are allowed to wear skirts/dresses appropriate for a sporting event).
