PLANS FOR CUBBIES "MEET THE PASTOR NIGHT" PARENT'S NIGHT

This will be an outreach to parents so that unchurched families can see that they share much in common with believers (in family goals and love for their children) and will be given the gospel as Pastor speaks.

I want the Cubbies as well as their parents to see pastors as one of them, called by God, to serve Him with their lives. With a bit of background info I am planning for a positive sharing time between the Cubbies, their parents, and Pastor so that they can see that 1) he was just like them, 2) he loves the Lord, and 3) they can follow his model as he follows Christ. Of course, I also want the parents to make the personal connection with him and you as parents of a 3 or 4 year old.

8:00 - 8:15 Game Time - Parent's Fellowship begins include a game of Follow the Leader
8:15 - 8:25 Snack Time - ask for a Cubbie volunteer to lead prayer of thanksgiving. Hot Cross Buns and punch for parents and Cubbies
8:25 - 8:30 Award Time -Present each award individually - encouraging each Cubbie and acknowledging parental involvement. Present "Hugs/Kisses" to parents.
8:30 Close in prayer thanking God for the families, directions in the Bible, fellowship of friends.
